About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Care Specialist to join our team at Perimeter Healthcare. As a leading provider of behavioral health care services, we deliver comprehensive and dedicated treatment programs for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide positive role modeling and teach appropriate life skills to residents.
  • Conduct direct observation rounds and document patient behavior.
  • Promote daily living skills through task assignments and supervision.
  • Lead individual and group activities and programs.
  • Orient patients to the unit and assist with discharge processes.
  • Assist with verbal de-escalation techniques for agitated residents.
  • Accompany patients to unit, mealtime, recreation, and education activities.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Age: Must be 21 years old or older.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a children's services program or residential setting, or completion of two years of college in social sciences.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid State Driver's License, CPR certification, and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training during New Hire Orientation.
  • Schedule: PRN and Overnight shifts available.
