Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Sunnyside Presbyterian Home is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency impairments.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address language and swallowing disorders.
  • Evaluate patients' levels of swallowing, speech, and language difficulty and identify effective treatment options.
  • Collaborate with patients, caregivers, and families to provide support and guidance on coping with communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patients' communication skills and overall quality of life.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
  • 23 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist state license and CPR certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
