  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Possession of a valid High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity, ideally within a group home or program management setting
  • Physically fit to maintain order and respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Exhibits a neat and professional demeanor
  • Able to adhere to Individual Service Plans (ISP)
  • Displays strong boundaries and compassion for individuals served
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Valid driver's license in New Mexico with a clean driving history
  • Annual vehicle safety checks required
  • Completion of fingerprinting, First Aid/CPR, and background checks
  • Must maintain current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Handle with Care
  • Compliance with agency training standards and ability to work in a culturally diverse setting

Ongoing employment is contingent upon supervisor assessments, continuing education, and driving record evaluations.

Reports to: Supported Living Service Coordinator and Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizes staff schedules and ensures unit coverage in accordance with ratio requirements and member needs
  • Oversees daily operations for both members and staff
  • Implements and supervises group home schedules
  • Acts as a role model by adhering to agency standards
  • Maintains accurate documentation of member behaviors and interactions while upholding professionalism
  • Responsible for Crossover Book/Progress Notes

Ability First offers weekly pay options.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Starting at $16.75 per hour
