Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Maximo-based Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to effectively schedule and monitor preventive maintenance tasks, including equipment inspections and lubrication services.
- Lead the maintenance team by assigning responsibilities, establishing timelines, and ensuring accountability for task completion.
- Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to facilitate maintenance work.
- Develop detailed Scopes of Work (SOWs) for special projects, select appropriate contractors, and manage project execution.
- Request quotes for immediate purchases and generate SAP Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure timely approval of SAP POs within the Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) system.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve any invoice discrepancies to ensure prompt payments.
- Establish new vendor accounts in the Master Data Governance (MDG) system as needed.
- Transform maintenance requirements into actionable resources and develop a strategic plan for effective scheduling.
- Estimate necessary materials and labor to ensure the successful completion of maintenance job orders.
- Monitor maintenance labor to maximize planned work and minimize unplanned or emergency tasks.
- Maintain, train, and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System, ensuring accurate data collection and history.
- Communicate with various departments regarding maintenance scheduling and planning matters.
- Update and modify Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) protocols.
- Implement Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree in an engineering-related field or advanced training, such as a journeyman's or professional license, is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required.
