Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire alarm systems and associated low voltage systems.
  • Perform system testing and inspections in accordance with established standards.
  • Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs for fire alarm systems.
  • Prepare accurate service tickets and detailed reports in a timely manner.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain effective communication with clients.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment both on-site and off-site.
  • Collaborate effectively with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management.
  • Manage truck inventory and stock efficiently.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent professional experience.
  • Eligibility for licensure in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the installation, inspection, and servicing of Life Safety Systems.
  • Possession of Louisiana Level 1 and Level 2 licenses is preferred.
  • Successful completion of relevant training and testing.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage tasks effectively without constant supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Experience with office equipment operations.
  • Proficient multitasking abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service skills for interaction with both internal and external clients.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capability to work with small tools and equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and well-organized individual.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in reading and speaking English.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of prior experience in life safety installations, field service, and inspections.
  • Experience with programming fire alarm panels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NICET certification.
  • Experience as a lead technician on large commercial projects.
  • Familiarity with CAD software.
  • Prior experience with fire extinguishers, hood suppression, and sprinkler systems.
