Job Title: Specialty Cheese Customer Service

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Specialty Cheese Customer Service representative at Wegmans Food Markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by proactively approaching customers and answering questions about our cheese and specialty food products.
  • Take orders, package product, and maintain a clean and organized store environment throughout the day.
  • Consistently grow product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new and featured items in our cheese and specialty food department.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
