Amergis is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with mental health and developmental issues, and aiding in qualifying students for additional support services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' needs and develop individualized plans to support their academic and personal growth.
- Provide on-site psychological services to students, including counseling, assessment, and intervention.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective educational programs.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in school psychology.
- Master's degree in psychology or a related field.
- Current state licensure and/or certification in school psychology.
- Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency and familiarity with educational software.
