Loan Processor

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Processor to join our team at First Federal Bank. As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for setting up new loan files, following up on verifications, appraisals, and credit, and communicating with various stakeholders to secure accurate information and provide loan status.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up new loan files and follow up on all verifications, appraisals, and credit
• Communicate with builders, realtors, appraisers, title company/attorney, credit bureau, and customers to secure accurate verified information and provide loan status
• Validate loan documents and information to ensure conformity with agency and investor guidelines
• Prepare complete and accurate loan packages for underwriter review, portfolio, and secondary market transactions
• Set up closings with customers and our closing department
• Review residential loan application files to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment standards
• Provide excellent service to customers with innovative and creative solutions

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent computer skills
• At least 3 years of current processing experience
• Good understanding of mortgage products and services
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and math and calculation skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle and meet deadlines
• Extended periods of sitting and computer use may be required
