Security Systems Project Manager

Position Overview:

The Security Systems Project Manager will serve as the primary liaison for overseeing physical and technical security measures during the development and modification of sensitive environments. This role necessitates collaboration with various project leaders to ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the project management representative for security during construction and modifications.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders to comprehend the security requirements of new and revised projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure adherence to relevant security standards.
  • Conduct configuration and testing of alarm systems across multiple facilities.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company facilities and security systems to provide adequate support.
  • Document and assess security systems for compliance with established regulations.
  • Manage the UL certification program in accordance with UL 2050 standards.
  • Offer security guidance to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide administrative support, including managing access control systems and facilitating government inspections.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues prior to inspections.
  • Support computer systems and network operations, manage purchase orders, and generate incident management reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of an existing Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret and Special Access clearance.
  • Willingness to perform after-hours duties related to construction or emergency situations.
  • Ability to travel as required for company needs.
  • Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, and related company software.
  • Familiarity with enterprise networks, TCP/IP, and RF communications.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with strong project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of aerospace security functions.
  • Knowledge of access control and alarm system configurations.
  • Experience with RF communications.
  • At least 2 years of experience in database administration and security alarm system testing.
  • A+ Certification and knowledge of various operating systems and software installation.
  • Experience in alarm system configuration and network domain administration.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with 13 years of directly related experience, or
  • Associate's degree in a relevant field with 9 years of directly related experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, or
  • Master's degree with 3 years of related experience, or
  • Equivalent military experience.

Note:

This position requires eligibility for any necessary export authorization.
