Purpose:

Core Duties:

  • Lead the Student Ministry across all church locations, ensuring consistency in approach and execution.
  • Develop a comprehensive curriculum for Student Ministry, targeting grades 6 through 12.
  • Create and implement a discipleship framework tailored for middle and high school students.
  • Collaborate with parents to support their children's spiritual growth.
  • Inspire students to take their next steps in their faith journey.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate leaders for Middle and High School service teams.
  • Oversee all aspects of Student Gatherings, including small group leadership, guest experience, security, and worship elements.
  • Establish and lead a Student Leadership Team.
  • Organize regular brainstorming sessions to innovate sermon series and creative elements for gatherings.
  • Build meaningful relationships with students to foster their spiritual development.
  • Create connections between the Student Ministry and local educational institutions.
  • Ensure that ministry goals are met effectively.
  • Manage the budget and resources allocated to the ministry responsibly.
  • Supervise social media and communication efforts to support the team and engage parents.
  • Strive for excellence in all facets of the Student Ministry.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Some local travel may be required.
  • Attend staff and departmental meetings punctually.
  • Participate in training sessions as directed.
  • Carry out other duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and successful completion of a background check.
  • Doctrinal beliefs aligned with those of Crosspoint City Church.
  • Ability to inspire and communicate effectively in diverse settings.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Commitment to a collaborative approach in ministry.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to engage with colleagues and church members face-to-face.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding personal and church-related information.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment:

This role involves both indoor and outdoor conditions, requiring the ability to sit, stand, bend, and move flexibly for extended periods. Occasionally, lifting objects up to 10 pounds may be necessary with assistance. Proficiency in using a computer, phone systems, and other office equipment is essential.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, with hours aligned with Middle School and High School Gatherings, as well as office hours from Monday to Thursday.
