Job Summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a skilled Operating Room Surgical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during obstetrical operations.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and provide necessary instruments and supplies
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures
  • Provide patient care duties under the direction of a registered nurse
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Surgical Technologist training program
  • One year previous operating room experience as a Surgical/Delivery Room Technologist
  • Three years of experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting
  • BLS certification
  • NRP certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a fetal monitoring workshop
  • Orientation to learn surgical asepsis
