Position Summary:
This role is pivotal in generating reports that facilitate informed decision-making for management. Key duties involve engaging in all stages of the report development cycle, including attending client meetings to gather requirements, conducting data research and discovery, automating data sourcing, creating visual report representations, and overseeing report deployment, including user onboarding. Expectations include the development, maintenance, or enhancement of large-scale reporting platforms to provide comprehensive reporting solutions.

This critical position supports various business areas, acting as a liaison between the Front Line Unit and report developers to manage workflow, assess KPIs related to report delivery, and assist with team-initiated projects. A strong understanding of data relationships across systems is essential. Familiarity with specific reporting areas is advantageous. Effective communication and collaboration across multiple teams are vital for supporting diverse initiatives. A self-driven, responsible approach with a focus on due diligence is crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the liaison for Front Line Unit submission requests.
  • Maintain and update the report inventory as necessary.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) validation and follow-ups.
  • Lead governance processes for intake management.
  • Monitor compliance with code governance and report lifecycle by the development team.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures.
  • Establish and present performance KPIs to leadership.
Essential Skills:
  • Expertise in designing and maintaining automated reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Business Intelligence tools like MicroStrategy and Tableau.
  • Proficient in developing automated ETL processes from various databases.
  • Ability to analyze diverse database sources, including relational structures and dimensional models.
  • Skilled in building relational data models for actionable reporting.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to convert requirements into technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain essential documentation, including metadata and workflows.
  • Work effectively within a cross-functional team, sharing knowledge and providing project updates.
Required Qualifications:

• Experience in systems functional analysis and technology business analysis.

• Strong project management skills to handle multiple intake requests and stakeholder updates.

• Basic SQL knowledge.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Understanding of enterprise databases and related technologies.

• Familiarity with software version control systems.

• Ability to translate high-level business needs into technical data requirements.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong attention to detail and diligence.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High self-motivation and capability for independent project work.

• Experience in data mining using SQL/SAS.

• Familiarity with Tableau.

• Understanding of reporting data governance principles.

• Experience in process design is a plus.
