Job Summary

McLean Hospital, a world leader in psychiatric care, seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neurotherapeutics department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients receiving ECT/TMS/Ketamine treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-treatment assessment, treatment monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery management for patients receiving ECT/TMS/Ketamine.
  • Work collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure smooth patient flow and effective care coordination.
  • Utilize multiple data sources to identify patient needs and communicate effectively with the team to prioritize care.
  • Establish a therapeutic alliance with assigned patients and provide individualized care to promote optimal recovery.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
  • No experience required, one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic computer skills required for electronic medical records and administrative purposes.
