About the Role

McLean Hospital, a leading psychiatric hospital, seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join its Neurotherapeutics team. As a key member of the treatment team, you will provide high-quality care to patients receiving ECT/TMS/Ketamine treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-treatment assessments, monitor treatment progress, and provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure smooth patient flow and effective communication.
  • Identify and address patient safety concerns, functional status, and potential health issues.
  • Establish a therapeutic alliance with patients, initiate and continue pulse oximetry, oxygen saturation, and EKG monitoring.
  • Promote interventions that provide the least-restrictive and safest recovery for patients.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
  • No experience required, one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic computer skills required for electronic medical records and online systems.
