About the RoleThis paid nurse aide training and competency evaluation program is designed to prepare you for the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide exam. The class runs approximately 4-6 weeks, and upon completion, you will be required to take the exam within 120 days to be considered for continued employment.
Responsibilities- Treat all information about residents, their condition, and family as confidential information.
- Comply with established policies and procedures, and maintain established standards and practices.
- Assist in or provide for the maintenance of individual personal hygiene, i.e., bathing, shaving, changing clothing, nail care, toilet needs, etc.
- Ability to speak English at a level the residents can understand.
- Ability to read and write in English to carry out functions related to the care plans and provides appropriate resident care.
