The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience in accounting-related roles.
Responsibilities include:
- Audit financial statements, quarterly financial information, and clients' annual reports.
- Participate in pre-audit planning to assess risk and design effective audit procedures.
- Identify accounting and audit issues, perform research, and provide solutions.
- Test internal controls, policies, and procedures, and make recommendations.
- Perform audits under GAAS, GAAP, PCAOB, AICPA, and SOX standards.
- Build relationships with clients and associates, and teach, train, and develop incoming staff/interns.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CPA eligibility required.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively on multiple tasks.
- Adaptable to various client complexities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
