About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Coding Liaison to join our team at R1 RCM. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of coding practices across our client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced coding review and analysis to identify potential coding quality concerns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Coding, Education, and Revenue Integrity, to resolve coding-related issues
  • Develop and implement coding education programs to improve coding accuracy and compliance
  • Partner with CDI teams to resolve documentation inconsistencies and DRG variances
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest coding guidelines, regulations, and industry developments
Requirements
  • 5+ years of inpatient coding experience
  • CCS certification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
