Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of hourly skilled maintenance and general labor employees, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to maximize equipment utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain a zero-accident environment, providing necessary training updates to employees.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and coordinate the maintenance breakdowns of all equipment, maintaining a necessary inventory of replacement parts.
  • Training and Development: Provide regular training to personnel on new and existing equipment, ensuring good GMP Principles are followed.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement process controls to provide continuous improvement and ensure expected execution of preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain administrative records in a timely fashion, necessary to comply with job requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: A minimum of an Associate's degree in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years of maintenance supervision in the manufacturing environment, or extensive experience as an alternative to education.
  • Skills: Basic skills with Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, excellent problem-solving, listening, written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
