At ABM, we're seeking an experienced Automation Systems Integration Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and integrating Building Automation Systems (BAS) across various facilities. This will involve working closely with key personnel at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina, to maintain the BAS system, troubleshoot graphic and logic issues, and provide daily monitoring of operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze performance metrics, inventory control, and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with the onsite building operations team to resolve daily HVAC system issues, focusing on BAS controls, system components, networks, and devices.
  • Develop knowledge of mechanical system equipment, including sequence of operations, graphics development, and front-end functions for BAS systems in new and existing buildings.
  • Monitor BAS and HVAC system operation, including alarm management, performance, programming, building occupancy schedules, temperature set points, lighting controls schedules, submeters, histories, trends, and other systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with HVAC and DDC controls skills through self-study, corporate training, workshops, and other development opportunities.
  • Consult with HVAC management and personnel to identify service delivery needs, objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems, programs, and procedures.
  • Manage work orders in Asset Essential CMMS system and complete self-assessed work orders in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance cadence and execution.
Requirements
  • Tridium AX & N-4 Certification required.
  • 10-15 years' experience working with control systems, including Trane, Tridium, Niagara, Distech, Johnson Controls Metasys, Rover, Distech, and Honeywell Building Automation System components and integration.
  • Job experience in the controls industry.
