About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Dynamic Communication Therapist to join our team in West Los Angeles. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Job Description

This is a 24 hours per week opportunity that requires flexibility to work above hired hours as needed. You will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, developing, and implementing therapy/treatment programs to help our patients achieve optimal communication and swallowing abilities.

  • Evaluating patients' medical history, neurological, and psychological test results to determine necessary therapy.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve or restore communicative facility.
  • Administering diagnostic tests, such as FEES and IBBS, to assess patients' swallowing abilities.
  • Providing direct patient care, including individual and group sessions, to adults and children with a variety of communication disorders.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.

You will also have the opportunity to serve as a consultant on interdisciplinary teams, train CFY candidates, and participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.

Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • One (1) year clinical experience in dysphasia management required.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California) and Basic Life Support certification.

We offer a competitive salary range of $ $108,000 - $128,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
