Overview

Michael Page is collaborating with a prominent global manufacturing firm in search of a Senior Accountant to enhance their dynamic team. This role will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will involve significant interaction with the US Controller, providing essential support and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end closing activities and generate financial reports.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination of financial data with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing and supplier relations.
  • Execute Accounts Payable disbursements efficiently.
  • Prepare and report monthly Accounts Receivable aging reports, ensuring aged balances meet established targets.
  • Handle cash application processes.
  • Process customer invoices and credit memos accurately.
  • Maintain customer relationships to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
  • Administer sales and use tax compliance and manage tax audit requirements.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding and application of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
