We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our team in the Interventional Radiology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and providing patient care under the supervision of a physician.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, compile medical data, and develop individualized plans of care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
- Procedure Performance: Perform minimally invasive vascular and non-vascular procedures, including port placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and central venous catheter insertion and removal.
- Patient Education and Counseling: Provide pre- and post-procedure patient education and counseling on preparation for laboratory tests, examinations, and procedures.
- Documentation and Communication: Document all consultations, procedures, and patient interactions in a clear and concise manner, and communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with medical, technical, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
- Education: Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certification and Licensing: Certifications in relevant specialty or field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
