Job Description

The successful candidate will be a key member of the financial team, providing valuable accounting information to support business decisions impacting the company's bottom line. Primary objectives include analyzing financial results, maintaining General Ledger accounts related to inventory and cost of sales, preparing account reconciliations, producing standard and ad hoc reports, analyzing work-in-progress inventory, and implementing recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft Nav
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5-7 years' experience in a similar cost accounting position in a manufacturing environment
  • Detailed-oriented
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient in MS Office and standard accounting software
  • Flexibility and interest in learning new technologies
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Organized and ability to multitask
