At Quantum Research International, we are seeking a highly skilled SECURITY CONTROL ASSESSOR-INTERMEDIATE to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of security controls and control enhancements to ensure the overall effectiveness of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and approve accreditation packages to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Plan and conduct security authorization reviews and assurance case development for initial system installations.
  • Review authorization and assurance documents to verify that risk levels are within acceptable limits.
  • Verify that security postures are implemented as stated and recommend corrective actions for deviations.
  • Develop security compliance processes and audits for external services.
  • Perform security reviews and identify security gaps in security architecture.
  • Provide input to the Risk Management Framework process and related documentation.
  • Verify and update security documentation reflecting security design features.
  • Ensure that security design and cybersecurity development activities are properly documented.
  • Assess the effectiveness of security controls and configuration management processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Knowledge of risk management processes and industry standards.
  • Ability to communicate complex information and concepts effectively.
  • Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to prepare and present briefings and technical documentation.
  • TS/SCI eligible, subject to CI Polygraph.
  • IAT or IAM Level 2.
Desired/Preferred Skills:
  • Skill in determining security system design and implementation.
  • Skill in network systems management principles and tools.
