Job Summary The Salon Operations Manager plays a crucial role in the success of Sun Tan City by leading a dedicated team to deliver an outstanding client experience. This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the salon, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness. The manager will spend a significant amount of time supervising staff, making key staffing decisions, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Key Responsibilities: Mentor and develop team members to enhance client satisfaction. Address client concerns promptly and effectively. Maintain a positive and calm demeanor during busy periods. Promote a client-first culture by holding team accountable for service quality. Drive performance metrics through actionable plans and team motivation. Uphold the values and mission of Sun Tan City with integrity. Organize and delegate tasks to ensure smooth salon operations. Ensure the salon is clean, well-maintained, and organized. Manage staffing levels to support employee growth and operational needs. Comply with applicable labor laws for all team members. Utilize operational tools for excellence in salon management. Analyze financial reports to identify trends and improve performance. Conduct regular performance evaluations and set challenging goals. Oversee ongoing sales initiatives. This role requires a commitment to a standard workweek.
Qualifications: Preferred college education. Experience in management or sales is essential. Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong client service and operational knowledge. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Proven leadership abilities with coaching experience. Effective team-building and delegation skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capability to perform cleaning tasks and lift items as needed. Must be able to bend and reach for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate.
