Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at General Atomics and Affiliated Companies. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure the smooth operation, safety, and longevity of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify potential maintenance issues and develop preventative maintenance plans to address them.
  • Compile and analyze maintenance data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for all building infrastructure components.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop the scope of maintenance requirements and ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Monitor the progress of maintenance projects and ensure they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Maintain accurate records of all planner maintenance activities.
  • Audit existing maintenance records for accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and three or more years of progressive professional maintenance experience.
  • Strong understanding of building infrastructure systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and fire protection systems.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (SAP preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings.
