Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, develop, maintain, and coordinate the development and implementation of fiscal operations processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the development of the annual agency's budget and review statewide expenditure and spend plan data.
  • Perform monthly program/project expense analysis and assist with the review and analysis of MN expenditures and budgets.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Monitor contractor performance and payment, resolve disputes, and contractual issues.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the use of computer software applications, including Microsoft 365, Excel, and pivot tables.
  • Financial analysis and forecasting experience, with a strong understanding of accounting practices and financial management.
  • Customer service experience, with the ability to communicate effectively with broad audiences, including professionals, vendors, team members, and executive staff.
  • General knowledge of performance metrics, measurements, methods, and targets to promote financial accountability.
  • Experience with Commonwealth of VA financial knowledge and applied experience, as well as experience with Cardinal Financial system.
