Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily functions of the Foreign Influence compliance program, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Analyze and assess organizational activities for any international/foreign influence compliance problems.
  • Implement the Foreign Influence compliance program, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Manage the delivery of Foreign Influence compliance education and training to faculty and staff.
  • Supervise Foreign Influence staff and maintain regulatory documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum four (4) years of relevant and progressively responsible experience in research, compliance, export control or other appropriate field is required. Requires a minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to research and decipher complex regulations and apply them to everyday situations. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with foreign influence or conflicts of interest in academia.
  • Awareness of Export Control regulations, including the EAR, ITAR and OFAC regulations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with complex regulations.
