Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team. As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting metal to specific lengths as described in work orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cut metal to specific lengths using a saw.
  • Gather the right materials and utilize a saw to cut the material.
  • Place a specific amount of 'bars' onto pallets to get them ready for shipment.
  • Be proficient with a tape measure.

Work Environment:

  • Small metal distributor with about 12 employees working on the floor.
  • Loud environment due to saws running.
  • Organized facility with many products and big walk areas.
  • Climate-controlled environment.

Shift:

1st shift, starting at 6 or 7 AM, with 8-hour days.
