Job Description

First Tek is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager 3 to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing IT software and network infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, resource strategies, and funding estimates to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements, risks, and dependencies.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including project sponsors, performance managers, and clients.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to minimize or eliminate risks.
  • Facilitate project team meetings and ensure effective communication among team members.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, resource plans, budgets, and presentations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, management technology, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT software and network infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced skills with MS Project, including fundamental operation, function, and workflow regarding timelines, dependencies, project expectations, milestones, and resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage IT software, network infrastructure projects, and/or applications integrations projects in accordance with industry project management principles.
  • Expert-level communication and customer service skills to advance assigned project(s) forward in a large agency environment with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
  • IT project management experience within an Information Technology or Operational Technology environment.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.
