Pharmacy Liaison - Clinical Support

This role will provide outstanding support to patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals, working alongside clinical pharmacists to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service
  • Explain the benefits of our specialty pharmacy and successfully enroll patients into the program
  • Investigate insurance benefits, obtain prior authorizations, and resolve claim issues
  • Work with patients to find financial aid and ensure access to necessary medications
  • Enter and verify patient data, and provide direct support to enrolled patients

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as a pharmacy liaison or technician preferred
  • Registered or able to become registered as a pharmacy technician in Maryland
  • Strong people skills and ability to work with teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
