We are seeking a board certified Infectious Disease physician to provide coverage for outpatient clinic and inpatient consults at Atrium Health Infectious Disease - Kenilworth in Charlotte, NC.

This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with dedicated providers and develop positive relationships with other teammates while delivering quality care and outcomes on diverse cases.

About the Position

  • Inpatient consultations only
  • 1 or 2 Half days in Outpatient Clinic per week
  • Call average of 1:6 for 2 facilities
  • Weekend/Weeknight call shared between 13 physicians
  • Average of 15 cases/day with an average of 5 new consults/day when on inpatient
  • Admin duties with opportunity for research (as desired)

Qualified Candidates:

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Infectious Disease
  • North Carolina license required
  • Will consider new grad with ID fellowship
