Job Summary

Atrium Health is seeking a highly skilled Chief Advanced Practice Provider to lead our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team. As a key member of our healthcare system, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients and collaborating with attending physicians and resident teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric critical care and possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of advanced practice providers. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the PICU
  • Collaborate with attending physicians and resident teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Lead and motivate a team of advanced practice providers to achieve high-quality patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
  • Experience in pediatric critical care
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
