Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Bakery Associate to join our team at Military Deli and Bakery Services. As a Deli Bakery Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to military personnel and their families
  • Prepare and serve food, including slicing meats and cheeses, making sandwiches, and preparing custom party trays
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper sanitation and food handling procedures
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
  • Perform other duties as needed, including cake decorating, baking, and rotisserie chicken preparation
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed
  • Effective and friendly communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
  • Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
  • Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
  • Team player
  • Grocery, food service, or retail experience a plus
