We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech PRN to join our team at Independence Park Imaging, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Radiology Tech PRN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain high-quality radiographs of patients using radiographic equipment, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Comply with radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
  • Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and departmental protocols.
  • Perform computer operations, including Meditech and PACS, to manage patient data and imaging results.
  • Provide professional and courteous patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents, and other types of care to patients, as needed.
  • Review each exam for technical accuracy and complete the verification process in PACS, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
  • Collaborate with the Diagnostic Supervisor to maintain a clean and organized PACS system.
  • Complete and maintain personal educational requirements, staying up-to-date with the latest radiologic technologies and techniques.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding employee and patient information, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician certification.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • Vocational School Graduate.
