About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented leader to join our Financial Solutions team in NA. As a Senior Client Partner, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating business opportunities within the Financial Solutions sector, driving revenue growth, and expanding our client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Life Insurers, Brokers, Asset Gatherers, Reinsurers, and Investment Bankers.
  • Prospect, identify, and engage with potential clients in the financial services industry to promote our solutions and services.
  • Lead and build our business development team.
  • Understand client needs and requirements, and tailor solutions to meet their specific business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Execute deals involving responding to RFPs, negotiating terms with clients, working with actuarial structuring teams to develop models, and preparing internal approvals.
  • Successfully onboard new businesses, obtain internal approvals, and work closely with actuarial, accounting, legal, risk management, tax, and senior management teams.
  • Review and expand our existing solutions, driving forward the expansion of our solutions and appetite over time.
  • Build strong rapport, trust, and credibility with the team and corporate functions to support delegation to the FinSol organization and improve deal approvals while maintaining controls.
  • Establish a high profile within the L&H business, maintaining regular contact with traditional teams, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
  • Contribute to global FinSol topics as a member of the FinSol leadership team.
  • Work on other ad-hoc projects or strategic initiatives as required.
About You

You are a commercially astute individual with proven industry expertise and an ability to demonstrate both market and technical know-how. You continue to be driven by a desire to add value. Creativity, curiosity, and pragmatism are desirable attitudes.

You enjoy collaborating with colleagues as well as working independently. Your preference is to be part of an international and multicultural environment, handling diverse tasks, yet always ready to serve the team and meet business needs.

You ideally have the following background, skills, and mindset:

  • Strong relationships with C-Suite executives at the top and middle tiers of Life and Annuity Insurance carriers.
  • Extensive experience in Financial Solution structuring in the US with both life and annuity business.
  • Proven track record of success in business development roles within the US financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to close multiple transactions per year exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in accounting standards (e.g., LDTI/IFRS-17), solvency regimes (US Statutory and EU Solvency II), financial reporting, valuation, and ALM.
  • Comfortable in client-facing capacities as well as working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Organized and self-motivated to drive forward ongoing solution development.
