Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a SERRF ELOP Afterschool Assistant. This role is responsible for providing homework assistance and support to students in an after-school setting, as well as other related work as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide homework assistance and support to students in an after-school setting
  • Oversee a set group of students on a day-to-day basis
  • Build relationships with students and provide informal tutoring as needed
  • Use positive behavior management techniques to motivate students to focus and work hard
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
