About the Role

Gentiva Hospice is seeking an experienced and compassionate Executive Director - RN to lead our team in Hamilton Township, NJ. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our hospice location, ensuring the highest level of quality care and service to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Oversee the coordination of patient admissions, ancillary services, and team member supervision.
  • Quality Improvement: Implement continuous quality improvement principles to enhance patient care and services.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with accrediting and licensing agencies, regulatory requirements, and state or federal laws.
  • Human Resources: Manage HR effectively, including recruitment, supervision, and evaluation of team members.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster positive communication and collaboration among team members, patients, families, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Nurse with a minimum of Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum one year management/supervisory experience in hospice or home health required; two or more years' experience in hospice/home care preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Current license to practice nursing in the state of employment, if applicable; CPR certification required.
