We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Matrix Providers. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch behavioral health services to our patients.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $123,000 per year. The successful candidate will work closely with our primary care team to provide integrated behavioral health services and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, testing, and collateral sources.
  • Establish psychiatric diagnoses based on the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers to identify and address cognitive and behavioral factors impacting patient health.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • At least 12 months of experience assessing and providing evidence-based individual counseling to patients within a mental health or healthcare facility.
  • Direct hands-on experience with computer operations, basic word processing, data entry, and automated medical record systems.
  • A current, complete, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin Islands.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with recent experience providing integrated behavioral health services within a primary care setting.
