Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States Korzen Health Full time
Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Psychologist will perform initial evaluations consisting of one-time assessments. The role involves reviewing behavioral health records electronically and conducting comprehensive in-person assessments for United States Veterans as part of the disability benefits process.

Assessment Process
  1. The Psychologist will review electronic medical records through a secure Web Portal.
  2. Conduct a comprehensive assessment in person with each Veteran.
  3. Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.

It is essential to note that the Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations. Instead, the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, partly using the findings recorded in the DBQs.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Licensed Psychologist with a PsyD or Ph.D.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
Schedule and Compensation

This is a full-time position working on-site Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The schedule offers flexibility, with an average of 3-4 assessments per day. The salary is a solid base, not based on patient load, ensuring a predictable income. In addition to the competitive salary, Korzen Health offers:

  • A 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Medical benefits, with the company covering 75% of the costs.
  • PTO and all major holidays off.
  • A sign-on bonus.

Korzen Health values its employees' well-being and offers a work-life balance. If you are looking for a rewarding career serving the veteran community, apply today.
