Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support cardiologists and registered nurses in the execution and technical analysis of procedures performed in the Cardiac Catheter Lab.
  • Integrate education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to execute safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a cardiologist.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • Mentor and train students as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, CRT, OR RHF, ARRT, RCIS, CVT, CCT, or RVT.
  • Department-specific certification in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of cardiac catheterization testing, mechanics, and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time position with a 32-hour workweek.
  • Days shift with every other weekend rotation.
  • Benefits package available.
Pay Range

$67.11 to $83.88 per hour.
