The Flexographic Press Technician plays a vital role in our operations, tasked with the production of printed labels while consistently overseeing the quality of the labels and the conditions of the press.

- Night Shift (11pm - 7:30am Sunday - Thursday) with an additional $1.50 shift differential

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols established by the plant and corporate guidelines.
- Report any safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by completing daily housekeeping tasks.
- Execute make-ready procedures in alignment with Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure the correct use of print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers.
- Conduct all necessary quality checks related to product specifications, including visual and functional assessments.
- Operate the press to produce products according to customer specifications while managing quality, waste, and press efficiency.
- Ensure consistent quality throughout the production run, with critical checks on copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion.
- Complete all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as per BRC standards.
- Efficiently complete press make-readies.
- Perform all required maintenance duties on equipment.
- Clean plates, cylinders, and ink pans, and lubricate the press as necessary.
- Accurately input all required information into the GlobeTek system for material usage and time tracking.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a printing press operator or relevant training.
- Physical demands include standing, using hands for manipulation, reaching with arms, and effective communication.
- Frequent walking is required.
- Occasionally, the role may require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
