HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team in the Carlisle, Pennsylvania area. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for performing inspections and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Verify that construction materials and methods meet industry standards and specifications.
- Identify and report any defects or non-compliance issues to management.
- Collaborate with construction teams to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
- 2+ years of experience in construction inspection or a related field.
- Experience with sewer and waterline systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of PennDOT projects and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, grasp, talk, hear, and stand for extended periods.
- Exert up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently.
- Visual acuity requirements include color and depth perception, and field of vision.
