Video Editor

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our Creative Marketing team at Tailored Brands Inc. As an on-call video editor, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborating with a talented team of art directors, producers, and cinematographers to create engaging video content for our brand and external audience.

• Develop compelling video content for digital marketing channels, working closely with the art directors and copywriters to ensure alignment with our brand goals and tone.
• Partner with the creative team to develop video treatments that meet our brand's values and messaging.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social trends, meme culture, and video practices that resonate with our target markets.
• Maintain an organized library of content and assets, ensuring a high level of detail and accuracy.
• Edit a wide range of content across various camera formats and distribution platforms.
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish, working closely with the art director to ensure high-quality results.

• Bachelor's degree in communications, media, visual art, film, television, multimedia, or graphic design, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of creative or mastering editorial work in a post-production facility, delivering daily technically accurate content with creative revisions maintained.
• Proven experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as Davinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of technical video information, including codecs, frame rate, resolution/compression, proxy & offline workflows.
• Experience editing for commercial, documentary, social, and event content.
• Excellent attention to detail, with well-honed organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of Apple MacOS operating systems.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $60-$65, with the potential to increase to $75 based on merit, length of service, and other factors. We value individual skills, background, and experience in determining final salary.
