About the Role

Donaldson is a leading technology and innovation company committed to solving complex filtration challenges. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement site-specific environmental, health, and safety targets and objectives aligned with Donaldson's overall strategies.
  • Lead the execution of action-based EHS goals for leadership team members and supervisors to support achievement of site-specific EHS targets and objectives.
  • Support the creation of site-level annual EHS targets and objectives.
  • Facilitate the execution of operational controls required to manage exposures identified through the site's risk assessment processes.
  • Maintain site-specific compliance assurance processes to facilitate the timely completion of EHS-related compliance, training, and preventive maintenance obligations.
  • Conduct employee training as outlined on the site's EHS Compliance Calendar.
  • Support completion of preventive maintenance for EHS-critical equipment and processes.
  • Conduct sampling and data collection required to demonstrate compliance with the site's environmental regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain EHS systems, including action logs, equipment identification, and asset inspection tools.
  • Liaise with the global EHS organization and global lab leadership team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or laboratory environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in the EHS space or focused on safety.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with OSHA 30 or OSHA 511 standards.
  • Safety or EHS certifications.
