About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Server to join our team at Shaner Hotel Group. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests during events and banquets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain assigned tables to ensure a clean and organized environment for our guests.
  • Retrieve and serve beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications and group requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment.
  • Anticipate and respond promptly to guests' needs, ensuring positive guest relations.
  • Handle guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Be familiar with all hotel services and features to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in banquet operations and/or hospitality is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • Minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • ServSafe and/or food safety training is required.
  • Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS) is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
