Position Summary:

The Vice President of Cell Development will be a key figure in the organization, overseeing the research, development, and commercialization of advanced lithium-ion battery cells. This role demands a strategic visionary with extensive technical expertise in battery chemistry, materials science, and electrochemistry, coupled with leadership skills to inspire and manage a diverse team of scientists and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cell development strategy that aligns with the company's vision and objectives.

  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and mitigate risks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments in the battery sector.

Experience/Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in lithium-ion battery cell development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of battery chemistry, materials, and cell design principles.
  • Proven track record of leading successful R&D projects from concept to commercialization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
