About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at North American Dental Group. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional clinical support to our patients and dentists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists in restorative dentistry
  • Provide excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to doctors and hygienists
  • Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor's direction, and assure completion of forms and signatures in dental software
  • Review the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments
  • Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, maintain chain of asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines
  • Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs
  • Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations
Requirements
  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
  • Radiography/X-RAY certification for respective state
  • CPR Certification required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients
