Job Description

Bespoke Technologies LLC is seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux-based architectures.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Red Hat or other derivative OS', as well as demonstrated experience with automating configuration and change management using scripting languages. Collaboration platforms, such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence, are also a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily operational support for Linux operating systems and applications
  • Support virtual and physical infrastructure of servers running Rocky8 (and other RedHat derivatives) in dev, test, and production configurations
  • Develop and maintain environments running in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Develop and maintain standards and procedures for applications across a complex computing infrastructure
  • Monitor application and operating system performance; analyze, document and remediate incidents

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technical discipline
  • Extensive experience with Red Hat or other derivative OS'
  • Demonstrated experience with automating configuration and change management using scripting languages
  • Demonstrated experience with Collaboration platforms, such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence

Desired Skills:

  • Certified Linux System Administrator
  • Demonstrated experience with configuration management languages (such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)
  • Demonstrated experience with other Linux OS systems (Ubuntu, Debian, FreeBSD)
