Prevention Specialist Role

As a Primary Prevention Specialist with the Department of the Air Force, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting integrated prevention programs. This role requires collaboration to identify, implement, and assess public health-informed and evidence-based prevention policy, practices, programs, and processes.
We are seeking an experienced professional to support healthy climate/culture initiatives that eliminate harassment, sexual violence, family violence, and self-directed harm using a public health perspective and socio-ecological theoretical lens. The ideal candidate will have a background in social science and experience working on integrated primary prevention efforts.
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $81,963 - $106,549 per year. The selected candidate will be based in Concord, NH, with occasional travel to other locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement prevention programs and policies aligned with public health principles
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address social determinants of health
* Analyze data to inform program development and evaluation
* Provide training and technical assistance to community partners
Requirements
* Master's degree in behavioral or social science, or related field
* 12 months of specialized experience in social science research or practice
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
